How your enquiry becomes a claim

Phase 1: Initial Enquiry

Step 1
Complete the claim assessment form with as much detail as possible. Then click send.

Step 2
The form is forwarded via the website to Barkers Solicitors.

Step 3
The Solicitor will contact you within 24 hours either by telephone or email in order to discuss the circumstances of the incident and advise whether or not you may have a valid claim.

Phase 2: Barkers Solicitor

Step 1
The Solicitor will agree to act on your behalf on a genuine ‘no win no fee’ basis. She/He will arrange for the necessary papers to be drafted and signed. You have then hired a solicitor

Remember – at no time will you become liable to pay legal fees! See no win no fee explained.

Step 2
Your Solicitor will take detailed instructions from you either in person or by telephone and will confirm the following facts:

  • Identity and address of the defendant (person/organisation being sued)
  • Full details relating to your injuries
  • Full details relating to any other financial losses such as lost earnings
  • Further details in terms of the incident in question
  • Details of any witnesses, if appropriate

Step 3
Your Solicitor will then commence matters on your behalf and agree to keep you fully informed as to the progress of your case at all times. He/She will also outline how long the process may take and advise as to the amount of damages that you can expect to be awarded.
